The 2025 Mississippi Summit is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22nd through Friday 25th at the beautiful Lake Terrace Convention Center located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The center offers 33,269 square feet of flexible space, which includes an exhibit hall, seven meeting rooms, four open pre-function areas and a state-of-the-art conference room, all overlooking an attractive two-acre lake and terrace. Set amongst a landscape of tall pines, lush greenery, water features and a serene lake, the Lake Terrace Convention Center combines the power of nature, refined Southern hospitality, pristine facilities and access to leading-edge technology to offer clients a distinctive venue perfect for any special event.

The Lake Terrace Convention Center is operated, overseen and managed by the Hattiesburg Convention Commission, whose mission it is to enhance the economy of Hattiesburg through the creation, growth and maintenance of projects and attractions that provide compelling experiences and create fans for life.

The Summit will feature sessions on trauma informed care, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), spirituality and substance use, recovery support, women and substance use, human trafficking, HIV/Aids, motivational interviewing, workplace stress,  , providing insights into addictions, mental health, and behavioral health.

The Summit registration fees are:

• Standard Registration INCLUDES all lunches and breaks - $350.00 available until March 31st

  • Partial Registration (Wednesday and Thursday only) INCLUDES lunches and breaks for the 2 days - $250.00
  • Student Registration INCLUDES all lunches and breaks
    • Undergraduate Student Registration (must provide identification and proof of class schedule with a minimum of 10 hrs) - $150.00
    • Graduate Student Registration (must provide identification and proof of class schedule) - $200.00

• Late Registration INCLUDES all lunches and breaks - $395.00 available April 1st thru April 18th

• Onsite Registration INCLUDES all lunches and breaks - $450.00 available April 22nd - April 24th

We accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Payments can be made securely through our online registration system.

We also accept organization checks (no personal checks) and purchase orders. Purchase order number and information must be received by us before you attend any sessions.

Yes, on-site registration will be available; however, we encourage early registration to ensure availability and to take advantage of lower rates.

Cancellations received by March 22nd will receive a full refund minus a $50.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after March 22nd. Registrations can be transferred to another individual within your organization.

Occasionally we MAY provide scholarship opportunities for select attendees. 

Yes, the Lake Terrace Convention Center offers 580 on-site, open parking spaces, with no valet parking, at no additional charge. Visit the Lake Terrace website for more information.

No. You can book a shuttle service to meet your needs at your own expense.

The suggested dress code is business casual. Consider bringing a sweater or light jacket, as the meeting rooms can be chilly at times.

We invite you to wear your conference tee (provided when you check-in at registration) on Wednesday.

New this year, we will have Jersey Day on Thursday. Feel free to wear your favorite sports team (high school, college, or professional) apparel. Show your TEAM spirit!

Mississippi weather in late April is typically warm and humid, with daytime highs ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s°F and nighttime lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s°F. Rain is common, as this is part of the spring thunderstorm season, with the potential for severe weather, including heavy rain, strong winds, and occasional tornadoes. Humidity levels are rising, but it’s not as intense as the summer months. Overall, expect warm temperatures, a mix of sunny and cloudy days, and a chance of scattered showers or storms. So you may want to bring an umbrella.
