We are accepting workshop proposals for our
2024 Mississippi CONFERENCE for Addiction Professionals.
The conference will be held at the
Lake Terrace Convention Center, Hattiesburg, MS April 23 – 26, 2024.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: SEPTEMBER 15, 2023

- Education Information
- Biographical Information
- Resume or CV
- Headshot Photo (Doesn’t have to be professional. However, please make sure that it is clear.)
- Workshop Information: Title, Summary, Description (NOT THE SAME AS THE SUMMARY), 3 Objectives & Supporting Information, and References/Citations.
After review from the Planning Committee, selected presenters will be notified of their workshop acceptance by October 31, 2023.
Learning objectives and desired outcomes are critical for planning and evaluating workshop offerings at MSCAP. Learning objectives should be developed after the educational needs for the workshop have been identified. When developing learning objectives and outcomes, please use the actions verbs listed below:
Learning objectives must be observable and measurable so the participant can assess if the course was useful and beneficial.
